Timney Triggers, the oldest and largest trigger manufacturer in the world just announced a new drop-in, replacement trigger for the Remington Model 783 bolt action rifle.

“Timney is the industry-leader for replacement Remington triggers,” said Calvin Motley, Director of Product Development for Timney. “When our customers asked us to design and build a Timney for the Model 783, we listened. This new 783 trigger is an excellent addition to our Customer’s Choice line of triggers.”

Timney says it engineered every component of the new 783 trigger to elevate accuracy. It features the company’s new Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design (SEAL’d) that is adjustable for pull weight and overtravel. It is adjustable from 1-½ - 4 lbs. and features a trigger blocking side safety.

The trigger’s sear and trigger shoe are precision-machined and heat treated to a hardness of 56 Rockwell with a black oxide trigger coating and an NP-3 plated sear for maximum lubricity and a lifetime of reliable performance.

The Timney 783 is being originally offered in a right-hand, curved trigger shoe model. Retail is $164.95.
