Mossberg has expanded its handgun line, which was launched with the MC1sc subcompact 9mm in 2019. The new MC2c is a larger overall 9mm handgun with a 13+1 capacity that retains the slim profile of the subcompact version while using a double-stack magazine.

Five models offer a variety of finish and sight options and all come standard with a flush-fit 13-round mag as well as an extended 15-round magazine. The handgun features a 3.9-inch barrel with an overall length of 7.1 inches. With a trip 1.1-inch width and a height of 4.9-inches and weighing in at 21 ounces unloaded, it is still perfectly suited for concealed carry and is slightly smaller than the always popular Glock G19. The new pistol handles like a dream and the ergonomics are outstanding. If the MC1sc is a bit too small for your hands, and a Glock 19 fits just right, the MC2c will fit even better.

The MC2c also features multi-angle slide serrations, an oversized trigger guard, flat-profile trigger, a reversible magazine release, and a cross-bolt manual safety option is also available for right or left-handed shooters. Like its predecessor, the new handgun features Mossberg’s Safe Takedown System, allowing the striker-fired gun to be disassembled without pulling the trigger. SRP $490 - $595 depending on the model.
